Synchronizing Data to Movebank

You can synchronize the data collected by Druid devices to your Movebank account.

1. On the main menu of Ecotopia data center, click User Center > My Information.

2. In the Movebank section, click Add Account.

3. Enter your Movebank username in the Username field and click OK after you finish.

4. Click the Device field to select devices of which the data needs to be synchronized to Movebank. Each time when new devices are added to your Ecotopia account, you need to add those devices again if you want to synchronize the data of those devices to Movebank.

5. Wait for Ecotopia data center to automatically synchronize data to Movebank for the first time, which happens at 00:00 (UTC+0). Then click here for instructions on further settings on Movebank.

   Only the data types and fields listed in the table below can be synchronized from Ecotopia to Movebank automatically, and such data must be transmitted via cellular or INTELINK.

   GNSS Positioning	Longitude, Latitude, Altitude, Course, Speed
   Intering Positioning	Longitude, Latitude
   Environment	Temperature, Light intensity

   If you need to upload other data types or fields, or data that is transmitted via other methods (e.g., Argos or UBILINK), you can upload the data manually to Movebank. Click here for detailed procedures.

Note:

• When you select your provider under Live Feeds in a Study in the Studies page on Movebank, please choose Druid GSM instead of Druid Ecotopia.
• After first-time Movebank setting, all history data will be synchronized to your Movebank account.
• You can choose to Add Device after Movebank setting. Then, all history data of the device will be synchronized to Movebank; You can also choose to Remove Device after Movebank setting. Then the data of the device that has been synchronized to Movebank will not be deleted.
• For some users, Data Points on Studies page on Movebank may show 0, which is just a display error you can just ignore.
